Only a year ago, our brewer Aart van Bergen started his quest to brew the gods’ favorite ales. One year later Walhalla has released more than 10 beers and has won several awards. We’ve had a great rookie season!
To celebrate this 1st anniversary we are hosting the first ever Walhalla Winter Fest on Saturday 21st of January, at Cinetol Amsterdam. This will be an epic beer fest!
We will serve you all the beers we’ve release, plus a couple more! Also you can participate (and win some lovely prices) in our “Beer & Mythology” Pub Quiz. We start at 4 pm – just show up on time to apply.
You will also have the chance to get your own unique illustration by the dude that makes all our great beer labels: Vincent Sapthu! Buy a Walhalla gift pack in our special beer boutique and ask him nicely to illustrate it for you. Between 5pm and 6pm.
In the evening we will party big time with 2 great local bands and 1 beery DJ. First off we have Rita Zipora with her band: they play original dutch electropop inspired by Björk and Portishead. Then we have The Benelux: these guys mix ’80s synthesizers with acoustic instrument, creating some dirty grooves. To top it all of we have DJ Rick from the Oedipus brewery, spinning some funky tunes.
